If you've ever wanted to learn to make kimchi, this is your chance! I am teaching a class on making kimchi, making my Korean BBQ marinade, and making a Korean side dish also known as banchan. The class will go from 9am to 5pm on Saturday, April 1st at 1785 Quebec Street Denver, CO 80220 (former Johnson and Wales campus). 

You will get:

  • Lunch (Korean BBQ, rice, kimchi, and banchan)
  • A Jar of Kimchi to take home 
  • Hands on lesson on making kimchi, banchan, and Korean BBQ marinade
  • Conversation about Korean cooking and culture

What you will need to bring: 

  • An apron (optional)
  • A cutting board (required)
  • A knife to chop cabbage & vegetables (required)
  • A large bowl to mix the salted cabbage (required)
  • Colander to rinse the cabbage (required)
  • An appetite!

I will try to bring some of these items for anyone who forgets, but I don't have enough for everyone. 

Because my farmers market season is about to start, this will be your only chance to take this class. If all goes well, we will offer this class again towards the end of the year. 

$50 covers lunch, ingredients to make kimchi, and helps us to cover renting out the kitchen space. We hope you can join us! I think it will be lots of fun!
